A Texas highway shut down after officers got into a standoff with an armed woman seen sitting in a lawn chair on one of the lanes, authorities said Thursday.
The woman was involved in a crash on the highway, according to the constable's office.
Emergency crews shut down the north and southbound lanes of the highway amid the response.
The incident ended peacefully after a crisis responders communicated with her.

The Super Bowl halftime performer who displayed a flag that said "Sudan and Free Gaza" during Kendrick Lamar's halftime show back in February was arrested by Louisiana State Police on Thursday.
Authorities allege that 41-year-old Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu "deviated from his assigned role" during Lamar's performance and "disrupted the halftime show by running across the field with the flag."
An arrest warrant was obtained for Nantambu after the game, authorities said. Nantambu waited until Thursday to surrender himself to police. He's charged with resisting an officer and disturbing the peace by interruption of a lawful assembly.
