The real estate rental market in Yangon is expanding and detached houses are being sold briskly in Dagon Myothit (North) Township according to the relevant market.
Under the current market conditions, the rental market is good in Yangon region as a whole and in Dagon Myothit (North), sales of separate houses are brisk.
People, especially from other towns, buy the most in the places near Panglong street and in the wards 31/35/36/37/32/30/29.
“There are sales. It is not very dull. According to our experience, it’s only dull for a while. Then it becomes active. Deals we made are mostly located near Panglong street in Dagon Myothit (North) Township and in the wards 31/35/36/37/32/30/29. People from other towns mostly buy them. They buy new buildings where they can move in immediately if they like. They don’t think about the ward. They buy the land with houses where they readily live. There are less sales for expensive housing units,” said an official from Su Labh real estate agency in Dagon Myothit (North) Township. Real estate market in this township was good in 2023, and it is still doing well this year as well.
“Last year, the real estate market in North Dagon was good. After the rainy season, it will be better with more purchases. People are only interested in North Dagon in Yangon. Some sell their expensive houses and buy back cheaper ones here to earn money,” he said. — Thit Taw/ZN/ED
