We all know that if we are out in the world and we act a fool, we may just get snapped at. For example, when I accidentally lit the carpet of my mom’s Ford Windstar on fire with the cigarette lighter (to “make sure it works”), I was acting a fool, and she right-and-proper snapped at me.

If you act a fool around a flycatcher, you can also get yourself snapped at. Flycatchers are a family of birds who excel at a specific type of feeding tactic… and, yes, it is catching flies. More specifically, they catch insects out of midair with awesome inflight maneuvers and a very satisfying snap of their bills. Hang around a quiet part of a stream during an insect hatch, and you will see many birds fluttering out from the streamside shrubs, doing something cool-looking midair, then fluttering back to their post. Those birds are almost certainly flycatching, and if you are close enough you may hear the characteristic “pop” of their bill snapping shut on a tasty morsel.

If you wander too close to a flycatcher’s nest… also known as “acting a fool” in flycatcher world… they might snap directly at you. This snap is not to grab an insect, but rather to try and run you out of town using pure intimidation. In a defensive snap, the flycatcher will often buzz you while snapping multiple times in quick succession. It sounds a bit like a tiny batch of firecrackers going off in the distance, and it can be so fast and subtle that you may question whether you actually heard it or not. But in flycatcherland, that is a shot across the bow letting you know that you are too close, and they are not going to tolerate it.

It’s not like flycatchers have much of a next step in terms of escalating the conflict with a human. Bill-snapping is probably pretty scary to the smaller predators flycatchers are used to dealing with. These predators may end up with an aggressive peck or two if they don’t heed that initial warning. But a human could probably fight off a flycatcher with one hand and a toothpick while succumbing to anesthesia, so flycatchers don’t try to pick a fight they know they will lose. However, the defensive bill snap is a good signal letting us know that we are too close to a nest. Even if a flycatcher can’t beat us up, it is still polite to move on so they can raise their little flycatcherlings in peace.

မင်းဘူး(စကု)မြို့နယ်ရှိ မန်းရွှေစက်တော် ဘုရားပွဲတော်ကြီးကို ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်၊ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီ (၂) ရက်မှ ဧပြီ (၁၇) ရက်အထိ ရက်ပေါင်း (၇၅)ရက်ကြာ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်သွားမည်ဖြစ်သည်။

မန်းရွှေစက်တော်ဘုရားပွဲတော် ကျင်းပစဉ်ကာလ ဘုရားဖူး လာရောက်ကြသူများ တည်းခိုနားနေနိုင်ရန် မန်းချောင်းသောင်ပြင်အတွင်း၌ တည်းခိုဆောင်နှင့် ဈေးဆိုင်ခန်းများ စတင်ဆောက်လုပ်နေပြီး ဘုရားဖူးများအား ညအိပ်တည်းခိုခွင့်ပြုမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

မန်းရွှေစက်တော်တွင် တည်းခိုဆောင် အခန်းပေါင်း (၆၀၀) ကျော်၊ ဈေးဆိုင်ခန်းပေါင်း (၈၀၀) ကျော်ကို စတင်ဆောက်လုပ်နေပြီး လက်ရှိတွင် နမ္မဒါတည်းခိုဆောင်အပါအဝင် ငွေသောင်ယံနှင့် မန်းချောင်း သောင်ပြင်တစ်လျောက် တည်းခိုဆောင်နှင့် ဈေးဆိုင်အခန်း ပေါင်း (၁၄၀) ကျော် ဆောက်လုပ်ပြီးစီးနေပြီဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

ထို့ကြောင့် တည်းခိုဆောင် ငှားရမ်းခနှုန်းထားများကို တစ်ရက်လျှင် အထူးခန်း(VIP)တည်းခိုဆောင် (ရေချိုးခန်းနှင့် Toilet အပါ) ရေစပ်(ကမ်းစပ်) တစ်ခန်းကို ငွေ (၁၁၀၀၀၀) ကျပ်၊ ရိုးရိုးတည်းခိုဆောင် ရေစပ် (ကမ်းစပ်)တစ်ခန်းကို ငွေကျပ် (၈၀၀၀၀)၊ (၆၀၀၀၀) ကျပ်နှင့် ရိုးရိုးတည်းခိုဆောင် (ကုန်းပေါ်) တစ်ခန်း ငွေကျပ် (၄၀၀၀၀) ညှိနှိုင်းသတ်မှတ်ပေးထားကြောင်း သိရသည်။

“ဘုရားဖူးပြည်သူတွေ စိတ်အေးချမ်းသာစွာ တည်းခိုနားနေနိုင်စေဖို့အတွက် တည်းခိုဆောင်ငှားရမ်းခတွေကို သတ်မှတ်နှုန်းထားထက် ပိုမိုကောက်ခံပါက တိုင်ကြားနိုင်သလို ထိရောက်စွာအရေးယူသွားမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။”ဟု မန်းရွှေစက်တော် ဘုရားပွဲတော် ကျင်းပရေးလုပ်ငန်းကော်မတီ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌ ခရိုင်အုပ်ချုပ်ရေးမှူး ဦးအေးလွင်က ပြောသည်။

ဘုရားဖူးများ သွားလာရေးအဆင်ပြေစေရန် သောင်ပြင်အတွင်း၌ ယာယီ ဘေလီသံပေါင်တံတား (အထူးတံတား)တစ်စင်းကို ဆောက်လုပ်ပေးထားကာ မင်ဘူး-ရွှေစက်တော်နှင့် တောင်ပေါ်-တောင်အောက် မော်တော်ယာဉ်လိုင်းများကိုလည်း ပြေးဆွဲပေးသွားမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
