Tsunami warnings were issued for Alaska's Aleutian Islands and Hawaii on Tuesday after a major 8.7 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Russia, according to officials. Advisories were also issued in Japan and along the West Coast of the U.S. and Canada.
