JUST IN: A federal judge on Friday ordered the Trump administration to immediately stop broad, untargeted immigration stops and arrests in seven California counties, including Los Angeles.
The temporary restraining order comes after a lawsuit filed by immigrant advocacy groups accused federal agents of targeting Latino communities based on their race or the fact that they spoke Spanish and using unconstitutional tactics — including warrantless arrests, racial profiling and denying access to legal counsel.
