Plot Summary:
The story begins when DunBroch is struck by a series of strange and unsettling natural events—wild storms, vanishing crops, and restless animals. Seeking answers, Merida discovers an ancient legend about the Spirit of the Glen, a mythical force that once protected the land but disappeared centuries ago. With her kingdom on the brink of chaos, Merida sets out to uncover the truth behind the Spirit and restore balance to her homeland.
Her journey leads her to Eira (voiced by Saoirse Ronan), a mysterious and headstrong wanderer with a deep connection to the Spirit of the Glen. Together, they discover that the Spirit has been corrupted by a shadowy force tied to the ancient clans of Scotland. Along the way, Merida’s family—Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson) and King Fergus (Billy Connolly)—face their own challenges as they try to maintain peace among the clans.
