The family of a 12-year-old Sophia Forchas, who was critically wounded during the deadly shooting at a Minneapolis Catholic school last month, said in a statement she is making remarkable progress in her recovery, calling it "nothing short of miraculous."
Sophia, who suffered a gunshot wound to the head in the Aug. 27 attack at the Annunciation Catholic School, is preparing to transition from acute care to an inpatient rehabilitation program this week, according to her family's statement.
